Montessori Threading Toy
Montessori Threading Toy
Match shapes with your child and give this little bear a pattern.
A friendly bear makes a cheerful puzzle companion. This Montessori threading toy features a wooden bear board with a nine-space grid, geometric pieces, and illustrated pattern cards. Holes in the pieces add detail to explore, while circles, triangles, and squares invite comparisons.
Pick a pattern card together and help your child find its first shape. Place pieces across the bear’s tummy, match colors, or create a completely new arrangement for each other to copy. You can ask what changed when two pieces swap places, keeping the conversation playful.
For children who enjoy noticing differences, the bear offers a reason to keep looking. Comparing and arranging pieces supports color recognition, shape awareness, and pattern matching, while careful placement practices fine motor coordination.
